My professional summary:

Compassionate and creative emerging mental health professional with a strong foundation in child and family psychology, currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Child, Family, and Adolescent Therapy at Northeastern University. Experienced in early childhood education, trauma-informed care, and school-based interventions, with three years of hands-on experience supporting neurodivergent and emotionally vulnerable students. Blending a background in media, storytelling, and design with evidence-based clinical training, I am passionate about using creative therapeutic tools to empower children and families navigating OCD, trauma, grief, and identity development. My long-term goal is to open a private practice that combines traditional therapy with expressive arts, advocacy, and community-rooted healing.

FAQ about my work for Hire:

Do I do custom commissions?

Yes! Contact me at maddymitteness@gmail.com and we can chat about what you are looking to produce, price, and timeframe via email.

Why do you go through Etsy for commissions?

To protect you and myself, I think it makes the most sense to have the payment process go through Etsy instead of offline between us.

So You like something I have, but I want it in a specific size or for a specific use that isn’t available…?

Reach out to me! I’m a creative problem solver and we can come to a solution. If you appreciate my work and would like to purchase it in a different form, I’m more than happy to find a way to make that happen.

You’ve seen something of mine on my other communication platforms that you want but isn’t for sale?

Please please PLEASE let me know! I take great care of all my art assets. I make a lot of projects so not all of them I get around to making for sale. Let me know if you are in this situation and it will make my day.
